Please don't go to him, don't trust him. Ensure there is always assistance in the room when he is doing a Pap smear or any other procedures.

Knowledgeable. He was thorough and answered all my questions.

Dr Robert E Ranier and his staff were always very helpful with my sister and myself. The wait in the office was not long at all. Anyone that Chose Dr Ranier as there doctor would not be sorry. He will be missed.

I have been going to Dr. Rainer for close to 14 years. He is an excellent physician and has helped me cope with everything from my endometriosis, cyst, fibroids to general gynecologic issues. He is such a great doctor through the years he has treated most of my friends and my sister as well. We all have at one point or another moved out of state (florida and California) and flown back to be treated by Dr. Rainer in NY. He is compassionate, and makes it a point to try to schedule you in at the last minute.

I first started going to Dr Rainer 10 years ago when I was pregnant. He always spent time answering all my questions and was there every step of the way to delivering my son. I've continued going to Dr Rainer since then for my gyn exams. He's a caring doctor who really knows his stuff. I know I'm in capable hands and won't go anywhere else.

It is my belief that this doctor knows his 'stuff' it is also my opinion that he is influence by the dollar - you can just see the dollar signs going off when you are in consultation with him. Having said that , it is my opinion, that the dangerous thing about this man is that he is a flirt and for me he acted very inappropriately!

I've been going to Dr. Rainer for years. Sure the first visit was a little weird. I was pregnant, but due to the high risk of my pregnancy, was passed off to another colleague of his, and he didn't seem too happy, but whatever. After my son was born, I returned to Dr. Rainer, and he has been awesome ever since. He truly cares about his patients (and his money), but he's human, and has bills too. Any time I come into his office, sure the wait can be a little long, but he is so thorough and always answers my questions, makes me not care about the wait time. There have been times when I've come back for test results, and we've met in his office, he's the sweetest, most compassionate doctot I've ever encountered. Overall, if you can get over his occassional pompous attitude, he's a great doctor.

My sister had been seeing Dr Rainer for years and when I started having some gyn problems she suggested I go see him. Because I was having a problem they gave me an appointment right away. There was a bit of a long wait. Once I finally got in to see Dr Rainer I felt he did a thorough exam, did a sonogram and explained to me in detail what he found. I did not feel rushed and felt he answered all my questions, and believe me I had a lot of questions. I will definitely continue to see Dr Rainer as my GYN doctor
