Dr. Robert Charles Rankin, MD

I have been going to Dr. Rankin for a very long time. He and his office are awesome. I never have to wait long and Dr. Rankin answers questions and isn’t in a rush to leave the room.

I went for my yearly exam Dr Rankin felt a lump in my breast he did a needle biopsy in the office. While waiting for the results he sent me for an ultra sound .The ultra sound did not show anything.The results were in so they called me back for an office visit. The needle biopsy results showed A typical cells . Dr Rankin then sent me to a breast surgeon she felt the lump also and read results and said it should come out.Good thing Dr Rankin felt the lump which the ultra sound did not show cause the lump was cancer I thank god everyday that Dr Rankin felt that lump that day cause we did catch it early. Dr Rankin is an excellent doctor .I would recommend him highly

The MDs are great but the staff is lacking sensitivity and professionalism. They are not sensitive to patients and do not care about losing patients. It is a shame because the actual MDs are great but poor support staff especially to pregnant patients is not a comfort. I would not recommend.

Dr. Rankin is great. The person answering the phone and scheduling appointments does not listen and seems to always be in a rush to get you off the phone. I've had to repetively ask if I could finish my sentences and there has been a lot of miscommunication because of the interruptions and not listening to the patient.

Very nice staff, pleasant manner. Dr. Rankin was prompt, and took time to answer my questions. He is very professional and knowledgeable.

Go to Dr. Rankin if you want someone who is extremely knowledgeable based on his long experience with real world situations. Many doctors sound like a text book, giving recommendations and statistics that almost sound rehearsed, while Dr. Rankin has the background to tell you honestly and compassionately whether any issue is likely to be something to worry about or not,and give you great advice accordingly. I would not go anywhere else! He is wonderful.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rankin for many years and he delivered my three children, helping me tremendously through each pregnancy and postpartum. He has an easygoing, very professional manner and has always been on the cutting edge of ob/gyn advancements his entire career. Although I moved away from his offices in the South Hills years ago, I always drive back because I feel his excellent advice and treatment are very well worth it.
