Dr. Robert Edward Rees, DO

Expecting professionalism from your provider as well as their staff doesn’t seem like a tall task, however at this establishment you do things their way and they don’t care about patients whatsoever! Have an appointment? Don’t bother, you’ll get in to see him in his time not your scheduled appointment. The girl who answers the phone I believe is his daughter that answers remotely from Traverse City! What? Nobody answers the phone because nobody is allowed to at the office. The nurse will mock you and make you feel bad for requesting what patients request from their PCP Run the other way! Absolutely worst place ever so don’t waste your time.

Compassionate Doctor, Scheduling is terrible. Average wait to be seen on a scheduled appointment, way to long 1/2 hour to 1:45. Just sit in their waiting room and listen to the complaints! I was fired as a patient for voicing my complaint to the nurse! Look elsewhere, Just across the street! At this rate he will have no patients but relatives of the staff.

Will spend whatever time your problem requires.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rees since he came to BA. He is very professional and has exceeded my expectations on several occasions. He figured out my severe pain issue and sent me to a specialist in the city. If it wasn't for the doc I am sure I would still be lost in the spider web of healthcare system . 5 Stars!!!!

I am new to the area and Dr. Rees was recommended to me. But after two days of trying to reach him and make an appointment - enough is enough. The voice mail message indicates that they are tied up with another patient and / or phone call - and to try back after a few minutes - that no messages are allowed. With no one answering my 20 or so attempts, it would seem that Dr. Rees does not need any new patients. I didn't think it would be so difficult to find a doctor.

Dr. Rees is a very knowledgeable, kind, caring physician. I would highly recommend him!

I have 5 girls ages 10 to 4. The family loves him. Trying to find were he moved to. The hospital has a high Dr. turnover for some reason. Every time I find one they leave. Maybe it's the hospital and not just the Dr's

this doctor guess my illness, gave my unnecessary medicine that made me sicker. Kept giving me more meds, finally I ended up in the hospital with allergic reaction to the meds. After switching doctors and finding out my real illness he wasn't even close. Inexperience is this doctor is. He's moved on from our community after only being be there for a year.
