Dr. Robert Mark Rodger, MD

I had surgery on February 11th. Since that time, Dr. Rodger has been keeping a very close eye on my recovery. My visit today, he explained to me what could still be causing the issue with my legs. Since I'm only 3 months post op from surgery, we both agreed to give it a little more time. I like the fact he always includes me, and makes sure I understand what I'm looking at with my x rays. Dr. Rodger, keep up the great work.

I had two back surgeries, this one with dr Rodger, was the best thing i have done ,he is the GREATEST.

Great experience he was able to explain what he thought was causing all the pain etc. I appreciate his staff and him for there taking the time of to help me during my visit.

Botched a disc replacement. Attempted to correct the surgery with a fusion, then another surgery. Left my husband in agonizing constant pain—excruciating absolutely unbearable pain. We traveled to another state to have a globally-renowned neurosurgeon operate on my husband to attempt to correct the damage perpetrated upon him by Dr. Rodgers; however, the damage was irreparable. The neurosurgeon removed TWENTY-NINE PIECES OF METAL, replacing them with THREE!!! An incredibly athletic man, my husband couldn’t even breathe without intense suffering. We were newlyweds, yet my every breath, my slightest movement in our bed caused him such pain that I had to move to a separate bedroom. Ultimately, my husband couldn’t live with the consequences of Rodgers’ ineptitude and willed himself to death. Dr. Rodgers operated on one person and destroyed two lives.

No time spent explaining exactly why surgery was the best way to go. Second opinion from neurosurgeon told me surgery wasn't necessary and should not have even been an option. Very disappointed in his care. 10 min with me and he left the room and didn't come back after talking NECK surgery.

I couldn’t ask for a better doctor, Dr. Mark Rodger explained everything in-depth to me. I need to have my neck fused from C3 to C7 and also have bone on bone in my lower back. Dr. Mark Rogers took the time to explain to me everything that was going on with my neck and back. Dr Rodger made me feel very comfortable with the plan that he had to help me get back to a good place. He and his staff was extremely nice to me and made me leave smiling instead of crying, like I had in the past after leaving other doctors that had evaluated me. My situation is complicated/ scary and I feel that he and his staff took a lot of the fear away by explaining what needed to be done. Dr. Rodger and his staff’s kindness made me very comfortable and more at ease. I would recommend him to anybody especially if you have a complicated situation in a very complicated area!

We felt we weren't being listened to and were just a number in our home town so decided to drive the 2 hours for second opinion. So glad we did. Dr.Rodger listened to us, made us feel welcome and cared for and provided top-notch, compassionate care. Had minimally invasive surgery 3-19-20 and now no more leg pain and I can walk again! The whole office went above and beyond. PA Free, PA Finch and the numerous other medical staff there were great. Thank you ??
