Thomas Kelso, MD, PhD, has again helped me solve a lingering shoulder pain problem. He is top of the class as a person and orthopaedic surgeon. He also connected me Jared Carroll, Physical Therapist, at the EmergeOrtho office in Sunset Beach, NC. Jared has a balanced and progressive healing style.

Dr Kelso is amazing and is a legend in our neighborhood due to the quality of care that he provides. Several of our friends have had surgeries performed by him and he is praised by all! He diagnosed my IT band syndrome and acute Sciattica, gave me a Cortisone shot in my hip, prescribed Physical therapy, and now I am feeling much better and am on the road to recovery. Dr Kelso is a wonderful combination of abilities to relate well to patients, their families, and to bring his vast medical experience and skills to fit to each patient's needs. This is my second experience in 2020 first as family member with my spouse and now as I too become his surgical patient. That he is a superb author of fiction novels is another bonus.
