Dr. Robert Leon Rosenbaum, MD

Dr. (and that's being polite) Rosenbaum, is an cold, insensitive, non-caring person who should throw his "license" in the trash. In the time I went to see him he did NOTHING for me but get money from my insurance company for my visits. On one visit he told me I had been doing well with my medication. I quickly informed him ....he has NEVER had me on any type of medication, "oh I'm sorry, wrong patient". Another, time, he tells me I am hyper and hypothyroid but in the same breath he tells me "I'm not going to give you anything because I don't know what you have yet. All these visits took less than 10 minutes each, I timed them all. He barely shakes my hand (beyond unprofessional manner). The last straw was when I saw him and he comes in barely looks at my chart and says "your doing great with your medications....WHAT MEDICATIONS...I tell him again ....I am not on any meds from you ....he responds ..."oh ...faking like he looks at my folder and says...okay with such a tone of… non affect I literally let out a sigh of complete aggravation and just say "good bye" and walk out. He did not take any time with me to explain anything, he was uninterested in my questions and beat around the bush to give me his version of a quick answer. He was very distant and always had the wrong information about me as his patient. It was good he didn't give me any meds because Lord only knows. I left him still feeling ill.....in fact worse. I do not advise going to see DR. Rosen"bomb"

Dr Rosenbaum seems aloof and uncaring. He spends the minimal amount of time with me and basically the only help I got from my time with him (3 plus years) was to get any medications i needed. His office staff was faily incompetent in my opinion as incorrect bloodwork prescriptions were written for my diabetes (had me do a full blodwork but neglected to request an A1C). On one visit we went over my bloodwork and only as I was leaving did it get discovered they used my blood results from a visit 6 months earlier. His limp handshake is rediculous.

I had an appointment with Dr. Rosenbaum to go over my bloodwork which I had gotten in advance of meeting him. On the day of my appointment I was running a fever. I called the office and told them the situation. The nurse said to come in anyway, the doctor would address my fever that was on it's third day. I didn't feel like driving up there but I did because I was assured he would address it. He did not. My husband warned me of a doctor who gives the "limp" handshake. I should have known the minute he shook my hand! He made no eye contact with me the entire time he was going over the bloodwork results. When I mentioned the fever and how the nurse said he would see me about it he just shrugged. He told me that if I still had the fever by the end of the week to follow up with my rheumotologist! He wanted no part of it. The next day, with my fever at 103 and tylenol not doing anything, I decided to go to the medicenter. Turns out I have pneumonia! I had to get on meds… immediately and follow up with a pulmonologist. I will never go to Dr. Rosenbaum again. Terrible doctor. The TopDoc rating only means he paid for a full page ad. Nothing more. There are plenty of Endocrinologists out there, find one who actually cares.

Dr. Rosenbaum knows what you problems are without looking at his records. He always askes if I have any needs or new problems. He is very personable and understanding. I would recogmend him to anyone.

I've been a patient of Dr. Rosenbaum for a number of years (8+) and he has been wonderful in terms of diagnosing, watching and insuring periodic followup of my Thyroid nodule issues. He clearly understands results, doesn't easily or needlessly recommend surgical removal as others do, prescribes meds only when beneficial and recommends follow up to assess changes so that he can stay on top of my situation. Despite my relocating to Florida for the past few winters, I still go back to him for needed follow up and if I ever did need a higher lever of treatment you can be sure that I will trust him to handle the matter. In short, his knowledge, philosophy and methods are allowing me to lead a normal life.

After waiting 45 minutes I almost left the office. He finally walked in, offered no apology for my wait and got right into my blood results. When I asked why certain counts were high, he told me to go see my Primary physician. Needless to say, I won't be going back.

Doesn't understand pituitary problems and should just say so. Refused to look at medical info concerning from another doctor regarding my specific problem.Vasopressin is a non-diuretic, NOT A DIURETIC, as Dr.Rosenbaum assumed incorrectly & gave wrong directions for it's use.

Insensitive to me and my health problem. Doesn't know Vasopressin is an anti-diuretic NOT A DIURETIC. Mean spirited, cold, nervous, skinny, weird,

Dr. Rosenbaum is always willing to spend time with me, answering my questions, explaining medications, etc. I never feel rushed.
