Dr. Roberto David Ross, MD

I hope nobody has to deal with a doctor as unprofessional as Dr. Ross. Not only did he cause undue suffering to my family member, he was condescending and rude to my family. My family member fell and broke a bone and was admitted into an ER. The ER said she needed to see a specialist but unfortunately needed a referral from Dr. Ross to do so. First off, he refused to give my family member a referral unless she came in (despite the ER assuring us that he did not need to see her physically to issue a referral) and then he had the nerve to not only insult her to her face but also talk about my family and I behind our backs. After waiting 22 minutes to even see Dr. Ross he had the nerve to ask my family member why she hadnâ??t bothered to get dressed up to go see him. Are you kidding me? We had told him and his nurses repeatedly (side note: his PA was rather rude but the other nurses were helpful) that she was in great pain and did not want to see him in person but he insisted she come in… and then he INSULTS her because she was wearing the only clothing she could manage to get in? What a horrible person. How dare he be so rude and condescending to a woman in pain. To make it worse he had some young man with him. The boy walked in without introducing himself and Dr. Ross did not bother to explain who he was either. What a horrible violation of privacy. Is this take your son to work day? These are patients not animals at the humane society and a doctor should not have random people sitting in listening to confidential information. I feel that I should research this to see if this is illegal but, even if it is not, what an unprofessional thing to do. Even better was that Dr. Ross left the room and went to the front office to talk to his nurses but also decided to talk about my family. My husband was in the waiting room (unbeknownst to Dr, Ross) and could not believe that a doctor was being so immature as to talk about us behind our backs. Again, I hope nobody ever has to deal with this man. He caused my family member unneeded pain and suffering and has no bedside manner at all.
