Dr. Robert A Rossetti, MD

Dr. Rossetti extracted my 4 wisdom teeth. Prior to the procedure, Marita at his office was very helpful in coordinating and giving instructions for dealing with the insurance company and making the necessary payments. Unfortunately getting paid seems to be their priority. Dr. Rossetti did not review the specifics of the surgery with me on the day of the procedure. I was given a pamphlet with general information about recovery following wisdom tooth extraction. This was helpful, however, he never discussed my specific situation or gave personalized information about what to expect in my recovery. I experienced severe pain and was not able to chew anything for over 2 weeks afterward. (I was told to expect 3-4 days of this.) He did not mention until my follow-up appointment how my other medical conditions would affect my recovery, and when he did it was patronizing, as though I should have known that on my own. Perhaps I would have if I were an oral surgeon, but I'm not. I believe… he is a skilled surgeon but needs to improve the level of communication with the patients.

The doctor didn't seem interested in handling my son's case after he heard we did not have dental insurance. He had every excuse in the book to not do the surgery.

Dr Rosseti's staff was wonderful. They called my insurance company before my appointment and had all the coverage information for me at the consult.Dr Rossetti removed my wisdom teeth and I did great. He was very caring and sedated me in his office for the surgery. I did very well
