Dr. Royalty received his undergraduate degree from Pikeville College in Pikeville, Kentucky. He received his medical degree from the University Of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky. He completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Andrews Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama.

Dr. Royalty is currently board eligible in orthopaedic surgery, and has practiced orthopaedic surgery with Western Kentucky Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical Associates since 2011. He has staff privileges at Greenview Regional Hospital and The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

I couldn't raise my right arm any farther than my chest. After surgery with Dr. Robert Royalty I can raise my arm up over my head turn it in and direction. Little to no pain. Vfcc spraying before surgery meant everything.

Wonderful doctor who fully explained procedure and answered all questions. Prayed with me before surgery and personally called to check on me a couple of days later. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Royalty is great...He is so kind, he prayed with me and my family before surgery which meant a great deal to us.. He personally called my husband 10 days after surgery on a Sunday just to check on him..I have never had a Dr. to go out of their way just to check on a patient..He has helped my husband tremendously..Thank you so much Dr. Roaylty.
