Robert L Ruxin, MD

There is no finer Doctor than Dr. Ruxin. He has been my physician for over 20 years. In an era where there is so little trust in the medical community, it gives me an incredible amount of security and confidence to be a patient of a Doctor with so much integrity and knowledge. He and his staff have ALWAYS shown me the greatest respect and care. They deserve 10 stars!

Dr Ruxin seems very caring and compassionate. I am sure he is competent, as long as you do not have any complex medical issues that require any follow-up or actual research. He will not even take the time to try to find out what needs to be done next or who to refer you to if he is in over his head. Bad vitals, strange blood work, no ability to have a life due to your illness, o well, sucks for you. He will leave it for you to do your own research and have to tell him what to do. Not to mention having to remind him of your history EVERY SINGLE TIME, so he must not make accurate patient notes.

Doctor not worth cost of service

I have been a patient of Dr. Robert Ruxin's for many years now, I am always extremely satisfied with his care and diagnosing. I always leave the office feeling re-assured and less stressed. The staff is beyond excellent and have been with him for a very long time. I have continually recommended him to my family and friends. Happy in Newtown!!

Misdiagnosed, Over prescribed (drugged) w/ WRONG "medication" elderly patient to point of unconsciousness, allergic reaction misdiagnosed by multiple hospital "consults' as 'seizures' until FINALLY another (unauthorized) consult (no notice to or by family to rack up fees for practitioners) took one look and stated: those aren't seizures, it's an allergic reaction". Inappropriate drugs literally 'crushed' patients brain - walked in fully functioning, cognizant - then, unable to speak coherent sentences, immobilized & adverse impact on heart conditions - they stopped decades of heart meds when Ruxin misdiagnosed & overprescribed WRONG (NOT ADVISED - BAD INTERACTIONS) 'drug' Pharmaceutical Co's & Physicians peddle to increase usage/sales & THEIR profits at patient expense.

Dr. Ruxin is very caring and allows plenty of time with his patients. He has a wonderful staff also in both offices.

Excellent medical care and knowledge and personalized service. No waiting in waiting room or office room.
