Dr. Robert Daniel Saunders, MD

I am high risk pregnancy and have been told by the ER and a previous OB tell me I have a blood clot. I sent them my records and They waited 4.5 weeks and said the doctor was till reviewing them Finally I called and they said they thought since it was taking so long I changed my mind so they shredded my records. I calmly explained to them that I would resend them and no I did not want them to not see me due to me being high risk. I am now 14 weeks and have not been seen except by the ER and one OB visit that no longer accepts my insurance. So I call today to see what the hold up was and they tell me they are mailing out a letter stating they cant take me as a patient due to them already having to many TN patients at this time. That is understandable but did they have to wait 5 weeks to inform me of this? So the doctors may be great but if your front line staff is so unorganized and uncaring then it can destroy your repetition complexly. I would not send my worst enemy to this place… due to this reason.

I had a laparoscopic surgery to remove endometriosis & a cyst from both ovaries. Dr. Saunders never checked on me after my surgery, nor did he talk to me at my follow up appointment to discuss the results of my surgery.

Excellant Dr. & staff. Have been seeing him for years & he always listens carefully & compassionately. Staff are friendly & kind!

I have been seeing Dr Saunders for my very first pregnancy and I would have to say it's been the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. He never had time for my questions, he is ABSOLUTELY rude, he just comes into the room and says what he has to say then leaves, he has not given me ANY great advice for the problems I've been experience during my pregnancy, he isn't concerned at all for the severe swelling in my feet, he brushes off nearly ALL if my concerns, he doesn't try in the least to be friendly when he is seeing me, he isn't gentle and does not apologize for the discomfort he causes me, and he overall just has made my first experience a horrible one. I hope, if you go to Holston Valley, you DO NOT see Dr Saunders.
