Dr. Robert R. Savino, DO

I liked Dr. Savino a lot. But, he spends very little time with you and its almost impossible to get a follow up appointment. The office staff is not that friendly.

After many years of care, I regard Dr. Savino as exceptional in perceptive and professional care. In addition, he is understanding and compassionate.

I've been seeing him since my diagnosis 18 years ago. You can tell he cares very much, and I'm not sure he ever goes home, as he has returned my phone calls at 8:30 in the evening. His staff is wonderful as well, although I miss Joanne Broccoli, a nurse (very high up nurse, I don't remember the letters after her name) who moved out of the practice a while ago. I can't imagine having a better doctor than Dr. Savino. The only issue I have is getting an appointment can be difficult since he's usually booked 3 months out, but that just speaks to his success.

He represents what an excellent doctor should be...expert in his field as well as a sincere interest in a patient's medical well being. Highly recommended!

An all around excellent physician and person. He will do everything he can to help you and you never feel rushed. He is an old fashioned type of doctor---he truly cares and is very thorough. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Dear Patients, this brilliant Dr. has guided me in a large surgery. he is truly terrific, extremely intelligent and an obvious dedicated Doctor. He really does care, he works tirelessly and is conscientious. However Dr. Savino can be intimidating! Once you realize that he is there, and took an oath to do what is BEST for you, he can literally save your life.

I cannot recommend this physician, nor any of the colleagues in the practice due to the rude, abrupt and unprofessional manner that I experienced on the part of the office staff. I encountered several members of the office staff, and they can be described as above without exception.

Dr. Savino is extremely intense, and I believe very passionate about his work.His mind is incredible and goes 100 miles per hour. Once I got to know him I was less intimidated and realize he is really trying to help me. His office is courteous, but somewhat unable to keep up to his speed! (This I can relate to!)He also is always disgustingly right!

I would have to say my search for a Endocrinologist is over. I have bounced around for many years searching for a physician I would connect with. Dr. Savino is a very intense person, however, once you get past the exterior, he is a very caring and compassionate person. I need very close monitoring during the first few months of my case and he was with me every step of the way. Thank you!
