Dr. Robert Rick Selby

Very professional and courteous. I had a lot of apprehensions about my Whipple surgery but felt much better after our initial consultation. After the surgery his follow up care was excellent and he certainly made a very bad time in our lives better. I would certainly recommend him to my family and friends.

I traveled hundreds of miles to LA to see Dr. Selby after my local doctors were out of options. He was warm and professional and answered all of my questions. Even though I had never had any kind of surgery before I trusted him to take care of me. My treatment is still on going and I know I'm in the best of hands.

We were referred to Dr. Selby because of his expertise in bloodless surgery. He was remarkably warm and took all the time that we required for questions even though he had initially cancelled our appointment due to an emergency. We waited for him as we had traveled 200 miles for the appoinment,and when he finished with the emergency he saw us. He offered alternatives that our primary physician deemed non-curative, but that were less invasive and certainly worth a try before heading toward transplant. He is straightforward and respectful offering advice that is easy to understand. His nurse practioner Amy is also amazing.
