Dr. Robert Michael Shiner, MD

I have been using Dr shiner for over a year and he's the best doctor I've ever had the pleasure to be treated by.

He looked at plantars wart on heel and froze it. Saw him 6 mo. later for blood in my stool and bumps on rectal area. He told me it was hemeroids and advised Prep H. Lost coverage. Got it back 1 yr. later & saw him again for bumb on penile area. Told me it was a virus that would clear up and go buy some genital wart remover. No prescrip needed. Pharmacy said this was untrue. Need prescrip. Got new prim care physician who told me I have HPV. Rather serious. Precautions needed. Rectal bumps were actually anal warts caused by HPV. Risk of cancer if left untreated. The lack of proper diagnosis, care, information and education I recieved from this man is inexcusable, intolerable and put my health, and that of those around me, at risk. Not only, is he arrogant, pompous, dismissive and uncaring but he is, above all, a dangerous person who should have his license revoked. I'm angry, hurt and depressed I was led to believe this wasn't a serious thing. It could cost me my life someday:(

I saw Dr. Shiner for a annual physical. The exam was through. He did not take any unncessary test. He answered all of my questions. He asked all the right questions given my existing health conditions. He truly cared about my health and me as a person overall. He checked all imuizations. Overall I like this guy and I doubt he will be working for a community health center for very long. He is impressive. I met a staff member that said she goes to him she usually only sees women doctors. I recommend Dr. Shiner.

Dr. Shiner was not real attentive, does not have the best bedside manner but he listened to me when I spoke. He examined me in a professional manner. I beleive his diagsosis is correct. He is not like any other Family Practionier I visted in the past. They are all over worked. I would recommend Dr. Shiner. No complaints. The Manet Health Center is really impressive with the amount of patients they see and diversity of patients. I was very impressed with the admin staff and only had to wait less than 10 min to see the Dr. when the office was packed! Impressive.
