Dr. Robert Philip Siefring, MD

If you are looking for a doctor who cares about his patients then he is your guy. He spends time with each patient to really hear out their concerns. However, with that attention comes longer wait times so know what you’re getting yourself into. It will not be a quick appointment.

Dr. Siefring has a clinic on Friday’s for patients who have chronic vulva and vaginal diseases that my regular OB can not or does treat. If you are in that boat, you know what it’s like to feel alone, frustrated, angry, depressed, hopeless, just every negative emotion. I have seen urogyno’s for my issues and in the past traveled from my home at the shore to philly and my new urogyno recommended Dr. Siefring. From when I first called to when I came in I was welcomed by a warm and friendly staff. When I was treated by the medical assistant she explained to me about the clinic, how it’s on Friday’s what to expect and that this is for women who have issues like me and she specifically used the phrase ‘so you’re not alone here.’ That was so important to me as I have been struggling for a decade. Dr. Siefring was very thorough. He spent time with me, was friendly and compassionate. He made a plan for me that day and gave me the peace of mind that my conditions won’t control my life anymore.… Very thankful. -Sarah

I have been a patient of Dr. Siefring for over 20 years. He takes the time to listen to a patient's concerns and is thorough in his exam and diagnosis. The wait time has improved over the past two years. The office staff posts a wait time in the waiting area and updates as needed The office staff is friendlier and more welcoming than in the past.

I have been a patient of Dr. Siefring's for 16 years. Yes, the wait times are awful...horrible....way too long...but his demeanor, thoroughness and consideration are well worth the wait. He is an excellent physician and takes the time to listen to his patients, provide options and explanations when needed. I have had two different surgical procedures with Dr. Siefring and each time, he and his office staff have gone out of their way to make time for me. Just bring a book, a snack or a good friend to help pass the time.

Dr siefring has been my dr for almost 23 years. He takes his time with his patients, which is important to me. Even tho my last wait was 2 hours in the waiting room and another hour in the room, I still feel that waiting is worth the care. I usually call before I go for my appointment, go sign in, and go to lunch while I'm waiting. I want excellent care so I don't look at the negatives of wait time. He is an excellent dr no matter what and will wait all day to see him if I have to. I don't have problems getting appointments and don't have a problem with the staff, only occassionally you have to be a pest and call a few times. They are overloaded with patients. Maybe they shouldn't accept any more new patients .

I needed an emergency visit. Was not able to get an appointment until 4 weeks from when I called. Was told to try an over the counter medicine. I informed them that this does not work with my condition. Was not my condition was not as important as a prenatal patient. I ask if I could get a call from the Dr. direct was informed that's why he has staff. I felt that my service did not matter, that my condition was unimportant. Now I'm forced to see another doctor who is not familar with my past conditions. Will be looking into getting another doctor even though I personally think that Dr. Siefring is an excellent doctor, but his office program stinks !!!!
