Dr. Robert James Skiffey

Lesson learned. If you need a root canal go to an endodontist. Dr. Skiffey (Sr.) attempted to perform a root canal on my tooth and almost drilled through the tooth...then lied about it. He showed me an earlier X-ray and said "see I never drilled into the tooth." Does he think his patients are stupid? He gave up on the root canal due to the calcification and said we'll give it a few months. He never referred me to an endodontist so I made my own appointment. I suspect he was hoping the tooth would fail so he could try doing an implant. He is a rude, abrasive man. To top it all off he doesn't wear his mask over his nose which is dangerous during this pandemic. I should have just walked out.

Left the office feeling like I had been assaulted. His tone and techniques were abrasive and when I told him to stop what he was doing, he did not. Never, Never Never take anyone you care about here including yourself. I saw his son once and he was fine but I would describe Dr. Skiffey Sr as one of the monsters that I encountered during my lifetime of dental care. No thank you for your service!

Totally disappointed with your refusal to work with my insurance- after a simple cleaning and paying the copay I still owe over $57... Obviously I'm been overcharged but the 'receptionist' couldn't care less. Call my insurance company was the answer I got. After nearly 30 years of being a patient I'm being treated very poorly. Why are these charges so extreme. And the 'receptionist' said she didn't care if I found another dentist. What am I paying for ??? Your new office /equipment !!!

cleanings were fine. Filings were awful, chairside manner was awful. He actually made fun of me for continuing to have a headache and pain after some poorly done fillings. Such a terrible experience.

Never had a dental problem before or after this dr. Constant problems when i did.
