Dr. Robert Gordon Skwerer, MD

I had the worst experience of my life with Dr. Skwerer. He treated me like a lab rat and just a walking diagnosis. I kept talking about my life to try and give him a holistic view of me and he kept cutting me off, trying to get an exact qualitative observation. For example "how many hours of sleep do you sleep a night." For me, that question is not so simple and I CANNOT quantify the number... He refused to budge on that. Also, I could tell he was not taking me seriously at all because he spoke extremely condescendingly. I told him I had stopped taking some of my medicine, in accordance with my last provider, and he gave me a ton of crap for that. What does a man know about my care after he's known me for 30 minutes? I was trying to be open and communicative but this man clearly has an idea in his head of what all his patients are. That is super dangerous in healthcare and I would stay far far away from both Dr. Skwerer and Gupta Psychiatry (his current facility).
