Dentists make us nervous ... because we're normal. The idea of someone gloving around in there with power tools, extension cord, garden hose and a wet dry vacuum is supposed to bring us to a pucker factor of at least 8. That is understandable and is the reason why I waited until my teeth were soooo bad that they required a UN declaration to get me into ANY dentist chair. unfortunate for me and very very silly BECAUSE ... Dr Treon and the entire team are wonderful. We had to pull a couple teeth and good riddance. I'd add some expletives here, but this is a family friendly medical review website. (but, f*ck those painful teeth!) The procedure was completed quickly and even though I was PROMISED it would hurt a bit, it never did. Never even needed the painkillers and if you can't tell by reading, I'm not good with pain. I still milked it with the family and spent 4 days in bed, bingeing on Breaking Bad and burger king (sooo squishy food!) If dentists make you a bit nervous, you're… weird. If they terrify you, GOOD ON YOU, YOU'RE NORMAL! but, cowboy up & git on in there because they'll take great care of you.
