Dr. Robert Thomson Turner, MD

I don’t understand the previous reviews. My experience has been the total opposite. He listened when I saw him but had absolutely no suggestions on how to help me. I had questions that went unanswered and felt I had no help at all. Now I’ve had a call into him since Friday morning, I’ve been in terrible pain all weekend and still no response. Doesn’t seem like a good doctor to me.

I have been going to Dr. Turner for at least 20 years, probably when he just started practicing. He is thorough, accurate in diagnosis, smart, kind, and patient. He listens to what you have to say and when he is through with his diagnosis, he explains everything you need to know about your sickness and how the prescribed medicines will work on you. You will not find a finer and more professional doctor in all of Maryland. He currently treats all of my family including my wife and me. And lastly, he does not rush to throw you out of his office to get to the next patient. He knows that you are his greatest concern and he makes sure you get well fast. He also follows up on his patients and encourages them to contact him at any time if you encounter any further problems . This is the kind of doctor that we need and want to be our physician. Dr. Turner is very precise with his diagnosis. He listens, to everything you have to say and doesn't rush you to get to the next patient. He is one of the best internist in my eyes. The office staff is wonderful too.

I have been going to Dr. Turner for a number of years. In a time when most physicians are forced to see as many patients as possible, and sometimes compromise the amount of time they spend with individual patients, Dr. Turner always makes me feel as though he has enough time to understand me and my health in detail. He is very thoughtful (both in the analytic sense and in the sense of being compassionate) and seems to utilize the right type and quantity of resources to diagnose and treat. I find he is willing to answer questions and discuss concerns and is never paternalistic. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Without doubt, the very best internal medicine practicioner I have ever had.

Dr Turner is my family doctor. I've got PulmonaryEmbolism's in both of my lungs. Dr Turner has beena great help for me during this time. I would Recommend him to anyone looking for a gooddoctor.
