A heartfelt THANK YOU to Doctor Uzzo and the staff at Fox Chase for their compassionate and skilled care during my kidney diagnosis, treatment and surgery! From surveillance to left kidney nephrectomy (due to chromophobe tumor), Doctor Uzzo's leadership, skill and knowledge were extremely comforting. We always know we have the best medical care available.

I feel very lucky and grateful that I had such a skilled surgeon in Dr Uzzo..Not only is he a skilled surgeon he explains everything thoroughly and answers any and all questions. As serious as a kidney cancer diagnosis is Dr Uzzo made me feel incredibly calm,relaxed and hopeful. He's so kind and compassionate along with his amazing staff, I have to say I felt very cared for.

Dr Uzzo came highly recommended and I was not disappointed. From the minute the first visit began there was a calmness and control that I seldom had experienced. He was kind, compassionate and very detailed in all of his answers. His team and staff were incredibly efficient and on top of every facet.. Dr Uzzo took all the time needed, no rush or hurry and very thorough. The post operation visits and communications were prompt and followup phone calls always happened when he said they would. I highly recommend Dr Uzzo.

From the moment Dr. Uzzo walked in the room to see me for the 1st time, my entire outlook changed towards my cancer. His knowledge and expertise re: kidney cancer is second to none, and maybe more importantly, the calmness that he displayed about my situation had an amazingly positive effect on me! The compassion that was shown by his entire staff (office and hospital) was also amazing--I can't really put into words how this made me feel--I guess just a very calming effect. He is the best Kinney surgeon, he’s thorough compassionate, . I not only had Kinney Cancer but I had other issues with my heart and lungs which he put together a team of doctors to assist in case a problem came up in surgery with heart or lungs. They all were wonderful as well . And he got me through the surgery with no complications . And cancer is all gone.. thank you Dr Uzzo ..

After being told of my Kidney Cancer diagnosis, I set out to find the best Doctor in that field, after all, we're talking about "my life" and cancer. I not only wanted the opinions of his/her peers, I wanted the opinions of mine, (other patients). The name of Dr Robert G. Uzzo came up time after time.
