Dr. Robert Valentin, MD

Robert Valentin, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Valentin cares for patients between the ages of 3 and 18. As part of his practice, he treats mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, and a number of other psychiatric disorders. Dr. Valentin values his faith over everything else. Because of that, he felt called to extend Christ’s healing ministry through the field of medicine and to cultivate deep relationships with his patients. Dr. Valentin earned his bachelor’s degree from AdventHealth University. He then completed his master's and medical degree from Loma Linda University. He completed his general psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Florida-Jacksonville. Dr. Valentin is board-certified in general psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Valentin has mentored other medical students and …participated in many community service outreach projects. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, making music, and playing sports.
