Dr. Robert Jihad Warwar, MD

I am very grateful that Dr. Warwar has been my general practitioner for over 20 years. He is thorough, compassionate, and listens with genuine interest. He has helped me through various illnesses,including acute pulmonary disease, neuropathy, and Parkinson's Disease. During a recent appointment, Dr. Warwar noticed that I was having difficulty, and determined that my distress may have been caused by medication prescribed by another doctor. Even though the waiting room was full of patients scheduled to see him, Dr. Warwar took the time to telephone the doctor while I was in his office to discuss the situation and, together, they were able to resolve the problem. That was only one of many times that Dr. Warwar has gone the extra mile to help me with a medical problem. Dr. Warwar is an exceptional physician and human being.

I started seeing Dr. Rob around 1990. I have battled depression most of my life and he was referred to me by a friend. He was also my GP. I was Dr. Rob’s patient for 26 years. The only reason I’m still not his patient is because I moved to Bakersfield to be with my daughter. I would build a tolerance for the anti-depressants and he would figure out what to do when they were no longer working. He always found an answer. In 2005 I called the office and asked Roxie to ask Dr. Rob to refill my prescription’s. Roxie returned my call letting me know he wasn’t filling any prescription and insisted I have a complete physical. I owned my own business and felt I was too busy to take the time to do this. However, I did as I was told. I had a mammogram and they found cancer. It wasn’t anything I would find by self examination. It was like ground pepper and only could be found on a mammogram. Dr. Rob told me on a Friday at 5:00 and by Wednesday of the following week the cancer was removed. It… was stage 2. I truly believe if Dr. Rob wasn’t the caliber of Doctor he is I wouldn’t be here and I I hold this man in high esteem! He’s a man of integrity! I was blessed to have him as my doctor for 26 years!

Dr Rob as my family calls him, is the best Dr I have ever found. I and my family have been going to him for at least 15 yrs or more. He is compassionate, listens to you and sees that you get the appropriate treatment.

Dr. Rob is very thorough, honest and caring. We have been with him for quite some time now and feel lucky to have someone like him taking care of us. If he is not sure about something, he will check further and find out what is going on; tests, x-rays, exams, etc. He has a great resource of expert doctors he will not hesitate recommending you to if further attention to a problem is needed. I think the most important thing we fell about Dr. Rob is the trust we have in him. He's not just our doctor, he is a friend!

Dr. Robert Warwar was my doctor from 1994 until I moved to Texas in 2012. Wish he were my doctor here. He is the best doctor I have had in my 71 years! I recommend him to everyone.

Best Doctor I have ever seen!

Dr Warwar always listens to me and explains treatments and health problems thoroughly. I never have a problem getting an appointment. He keeps good records of my previous visits. He is a kind and knowledgeable doctor I wish more doctors were like him.

Dr. Warwar is an amazing, dedicated doctor. He always takes the time to explain his concerns and to answer any questions I may have about my illnesses or those of my children. He is very direct, but in a way that shows he truly cares about my health. My insurance doesn't fully cover Dr. Rob at 100%, but he is worth every penny I pay for my appointments given the peace of mind and reassurance he gives me about the health of my family. I have recommended Dr. Warwar to many friends and family and all who choose to become his patients are truly as impressed as I am by him and his caring staff.

Pieces of a benign tumor inside my heart broke off and caused two small, simultaneous strokes. Of course, the only symptoms at the time were the strokes, whose effects quickly subsided. Dr. J. N. Warwar aggressively searched for the cause of the strokes. He directed a series of tests that identified the problem, which was fixed by open heart surgery. Had he not pushed to understand the cause, more pieces of the tumor would likely have caused a larger stroke or a heart attack.
