Dr. Robert William Waterman JR., MD

Best doctor I have had. I saw him ten plus years. It was sad and still is when he went to UW. I haven’t found a doctor that even measures up to his knowledge, manner and care. He is truly a caring, thoughtful and a suburb man. UW Veterans are fortunate to have him!

I saw Dr. Waterman at the hardest moment in my life and continued to see him through a switch of practices. However when he left for the VA, I could no longer see him. I am so glad that those at the VA are getting access to a wonderful and exceptionally talented doctor who knows what he's doing and truly cares for his patients well being. He doesn't frivolously dole out meds or diagnoses like some - he is careful and diligent. He takes time and care like an effective psychiatrist should. Since, I have not been able to find a helpful psychiatrist and have declined greatly, but I am still glad there are others who are getting the chance to benefit from a truly helpful doctor who is also just a good human being.

I went to Dr.Waterman for thirteen years when he was at the Mills st location. He is an excellent psychiatrist. I would still be with him if he hadn't changed his practice to UW Hospital, Veterans Dept. It was and still is a sad, and hard time adjusting to another Dr.

Dr. Robert Waterman is caring and intelligent... A real class act and great doc, not to mention a wonderful man.

This doc, he is amazing. Had been my psych doc for over 12 years, until he left earlier this year to work for the VA system. He made a world of difference, in my life. I miss him greatly, as he is one of a kind:0)
