Dr. Robert Green Watkins, MD

1st visit Dr Watkins Sr was brief and gave a 5-6 minute visit and rushed out. 2nd visit was more reasonable, no complaints. Visit #3...they double booked the whole day! We are currently waiting for longer than 2 hours...when I asked, the staff said it is not their job to call patients in advance let let them know they are running late. And that there is another patient who has been waiting since the morning. This is more than late, especially when sitting with a spinal fracture waiting in pain. We tried to get up and walk around so as not to get stiff and in more pain...and we were told “due to COVID” we had to wait in the room...we were well beyond 6ft away from any other people. Unprofessional. Lack of concern for the patient regardless of their level of pain.

Excellent experience. Very competent surgeon. Cured my disk issue.

Although I gave his bedside manner a "moderate" rating that's because his P.A. Bond did my bedside after surgery. Truly wish I had Dr Watkins Sr from the start. His hospital across the street was just as good. I'm no "professional" ball player, lime the many pics that line his hall saying "thanks" but I didn't feel any less. Most important, he fixed my neck injury and I'm back to a high impact public servant job.
