Dr. Robert John Wolf, MD

I’ve never talked about this openly on here. It is hard to do. I have a leg problem witch makes it very hard to sleep and walk and do many things with my daughter. I have gained lots of weight because of it and it makes me sad. People have asked if I am pregnant and no I am not it is because of this. Thanks to DR WOLF I am getting better one day at a time but I still scream each day that it hurts and I feel bad for my daughter who has a mother who can’t do much with her. I still feel like 2019 is will be my best year because my doctor is helping in any way he can and I’m going to Rock it’s socks off. Injury or not. I’ve never felt this drive I have right now and it’s sooo great. This is the year things change. I feel it and I’m ready! Happy Days ahead. ?? 2019 here I come

I met doctor wolf thru my husband. He treated him like a person. I have since taken him as my doctor and could not be more pleased. Thank you doctor wolf.

He was my PCP for about two years at NM at Lake Forest. I found Dr. Wolf to be very professional, knowledgeable, and very personable. Whenever he sent me for a referral, I experienced similarly favorable traits from them and their staffs. In fairness, the staff I mention is NM in Lake Forest. So I cannot comment on Dr. Wolf's current staff. Finally, if his new practice accepts Medicare, do you think he can fit me in as a new patient?

We are new to Dr. Wolf's practice. He is very personable and usually quite easy to reach. He is very accurate in his diagnoses, very willing to work with the patient and his/her family and has a pragmatic, conservative "less is more" approach to treatment. We are very pleased with Dr. Wolf and the nurse, Marissa. We have not had any contact yet with the nurse practitioner. The receptionist, however, is amazingly rude and unresponsive, which is not reflective of the medical side of this practice. I think this is notable as she is the public face/voice on the phone and in the waiting area. (Perhaps she is better suited to a different line of work?)

The doctor is very professional, patient and personable. Too bad his receptionist is rude and insulting. She's this way every time I'm in the office. He deserves much better. Maybe after reading a few reviews, he'll believe it. Thinking I'd better just let him know myself

Dr. Wolf is great! I would, and did recommend him, my wife and I are both his patients

Something is very off in this practice. Too many patients? Was a patient for over a decade. Office staff can be be very condescending and abrasive. -- RX refill slower than other practices. Multiple faxes and calls needed on 3 occasions. Last time, was told patients are expected to call in 1.5 weeks in advance for refill. Emphasis on getting patients to sign up for "concierge care." Pay extra each year for more attention, same day refills, etc.

I have been to Dr. Wolf 3 times, but won't be going back. He did not call me back with my lab results until after I had called twice asking for them and I was very anxious. He has no bedside manner at all. A diagnosis he gave me turned out to be unaccurate (went to a specialist on my own because I have a ppo. One particular member of his staff is very rude. He wants me to pay 300 dollars a year to be part of his club to get better service. A doctor should give good service anyway, or why go into that profession? Many good doctors to choose from at Glenbrook and Northshore. I'd go elsewhere and both me and my wife are.
