Dr. Robert Forrest Yellon

The best doctor I have ever had, and he is a "celebrity" in the otolaryngology field-everyone knows Dr. Yellon! He is the most positive, love what you do, doctor that you will ever meet. I highly, 100% recommend Dr. Yellon to anyone that may need ENT care.

He was very arrogant! He is okay when he is all by himself, you ask him a question. When he has a student in the room, don't even open your mouth. He will throw up how he has been doing this for 20 plus years, and he the best doctor around. I don't think he should be talking to anyone, until he goes to behavioral class. My daughter needs surgery on her ear, and I am afraid to let him do the surgery. His godly disposition will hurt somebody one day.

He was very arrogant ,and over all treated me like i was not a patient ,but someone who he'd down on for areas he had no business judging me on .So no he is a very rude doctor.

Son had CAT scan done as a baby which did show abnormalities in one ear. Sedated ABR scan also showed some hearing loss at certain ranges.Recommended to have surgery to enlarge ear canal by 3 or 4 years old.Comment made "He has been through heart surgery. This is not as bad." Surgery for the ear canal can result in nerve damage and scar tissue formation which can make hearing worse and cause facial paralysis.I decided not to do surgery but wait until he is older and the possibility of his ear canals enlarging even though I was informed his hearing would be so bad that he wouldn't be able to tell which way a truck is coming.He is now six years old and his hearing tests are now in the normal range.

Our son had reoccurring ear infections for the first time in his life at age 8. After specialist the local Ear Nose Throat was unable to diagnose the problem, we requested a 2nd opinion from our family doctor. We were sent to Dr Yellon. Within 10 minutes of examination, Dr Yellon diagnosed cholestiatoma in both ears and scheduled an appointment for same day surgery. The problem along with another problem were corrected with three same day surgeries to have our sons hearing at a normal level without aid. Without Dr Yellon's expertise an accuracy in both the exam room as well as in surgey our son may have had permanent hearing loss. We are truly grateful to Dr Yellon and would highly recommend him for your child's care of the ear nose and throat.

Our son has special needs and has extremely narrow ear canals. Dr. Yellon was able to skillfully insert his tubes, and even recommended a special larger tube to accommodate our son. Dr. Yellon is highly knowledgeable, professional, and experienced. He can handle the toughest of the tough problems. He is tops in our book!

Dr Yellon was a truly caring physician. He was thorough and accurate. He called us at home for several days after my daughter's surgery.

Great Docotor, very accurate, sense of humour, i would recommend him anytime.However, his interns or whatever there titles were that helped him were a little iffy. a couple of them were pretty rough. however like i said, as for him he is great!
