Dr. Robert Edward Zimmerman, MD

I've been going to Dr. Zimmerman for nearly 20 years. He is caring and compassionate. My only concern is the amount of tests. In an effort to err on the side of caution, he orders unnecessary tests.

Dr. Z had a great bedside manner and spends time with his patients. He always listens and orders appropriate tests and referrals, when needed. He's been our family doc for years and we love him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Zimmerman for over 20 years, during which he has seen me through a wide range of medical issues. In each case, he has provided outstanding care. He doesn't pretend to know it all--he listens, poses the questions, probes for answers, and makes a concerted effort to resolve issues. I'm sure that his work has saved lives--mine is among them. The one thing that he has not done in my experience of him is cut corners. Dr. Z is thorough--he does not hesitate to reach out to specialists if he deems it necessary. I feel fortunate to have an excellent doctor. have referred my loved ones to his care.

Dr. Zimmerman is by far the best doctor I have every had. He is very intelligent, well-studied, friendly and takes the time to answer all of your questions. He never gives the impression that he is in a hurry to complete a consultation and move on to the next patient like most other doctors.

He is the best Dr I have ever been too. His staff, him and everyone in the office are wonderful. He truly cares about his patients and makes you feel like you are the only one.

Ive been a patient of Dr Zimmermans for several years. He has always been a great dr with a superb bedside manner.

Dr. Zimmerman is a thorough, conscientious, and kind physician. He takes his time and explains what he is concerned about. I have always felt comfortable asking him questions. What I like is that I was an integral part of my health team. Health-related decisions did not happen to me, they happened with me. I have moved to another state recently and am now desperately looking for someone just like him. With Dr. Zimmerman as my role model, my expectations are high; my task may be difficult.

I've been seeing Dr. Zimmerman for over 5 yrs and he is the best doctor I've ever had. Prior to seeing him, I'd been to 3 different doctors regarding gastrointestinal issues. All three said it was IBS or stress related and to eat more fiber. Dr. Z was the only one who listened to my ailments and referred me to a specialist. As it turned out, my condition was an autoimmune disorder triggered by eating certain foods. I've also seen him for other issues throughout the years and he is very thorough. His bedside manner is great! He also listens when you have a medical issue and tries to get to the bottom of it. I cannot say enough good things about him and would recommend him to anyone.

I thought he was a great Doctor until I ran into a good one in the Emergency room, I have been coming to this doctor for over 15 years, and thought he had my best intrest at heart, but what I found out was that he had his own agenda. ( Money ) I understand that Doctors deserve to make money due to all there years in school, but when it puts my health in jepordy there is a problem, I see that he has gotten awards in Dibeties which is very schocking, because I have been to his office for over two years with a very high blood sugar count, and he has never not once given me any medicine to controll it, I have lost weight like he recommended and it was still very high, when I went out to the hospital emergency room it was testing at the high 300's and earlie that day I tested at 389 ( WOW ) Blurrie vision, very thirsty, and always in the restroom, he got that award again for what ???? he sent me to lots of specialist with no resolution, and then back to himself for more money, with no… resolution, needless to say I'm divorcing my doctor, because I don't seem to be important to him. if you care about your health keep on stepping. Dr Z please step up your game.
