Dr. Roberta Rachel Parks, MD

Dr. Parks is knowledgable and caring. She has been my PCP for 7 years. She responds is such a prompt manner when needed outside of scheduled session.

Very good doctor. Great listener. Kind, but firm with advice. Dr. Parks has been my doctor for six years.

I have always found Dr. Parks to be extremely patient. She listens carefully to all my concerns and has given me excellent referrals when more specialized treatment has been needed. The facility in downtown Boston can be cramped, but I'm not there for a spa treatment--I'm there because I'm unwell and just need help (or an annual exam). I have always found her responsive when I've messaged. She has a professional but caring bedside manner, and even though I don't work downtown anymore, still make the trek into the city for appointments with her.

I was puffing up to 300 lbs and Dr. Parks, without discussion recommended Lahey's weight loss program. For me, this was an indication of her ability to id effective and successful programs ad her savviness around the on-coming merger. One hundred pounds plus weight loss later, I thank my lucky stars that she is my PCP and she is totally fly.

I have been to many doctors in my life and none give you the privilege of waiting for 45 minutes after arriving on time followed by the joy of being rushed through your ailments and subsequently a brilliant dismissal of the gravity of your situation as well as Dr. Roberta Parks. When I requested more time for assistance with my problems, she told me that perhaps I should find another doctor. Presumably one who cares about his/her patients. Needless to say, I will never go back to her and I would recommend her only to the perfectly healthy and noone else.

Dr. Parks is a great medical detective. Hearing what I said, she asked me questions beyond and between the lines of what I was saying. She expanded upon my limited report to look for the bigger context into which my complaints would fit, giving me and her, through our conversation, a more accurate identification of the source of my symptoms. This extraordinary conversation accomplished alot. Made me feel much better emotionally, understand her diagnostic analysis of my complaints/symtoms, and gave me the solid foundation to follow her recommendations. Gratefully, MC

Dr. Parks has been my PCP for several years now. I always feel as though she has plenty of time and listens carefully to any concerns I have. She guided me through a long-term illness with compassion and expertise. It’s currently takes quite a while to get an appointment with her but, worth it when you can wait. Otherwise, most of the other doctors in the practice are also beyond capable. The practice staff are incredibly kind as well!

Every time I saw Dr. Parks she would not address my symptoms. She said she "I do not have time for that, we can go over three things on your list,.....no just one" Even then she would not help me with that symptom. As it turned out I was very sick and injured.I needed serious medical care and surgery. She kept saying it was all in my head and there was "nothing really wrong with me".

I've been a patient of Dr. Parks for several years and I trust her medical skills and knowledge. She's practical and efficient but business-like which suits me fine. I've never had to wait in the waiting room or the exam room, but it takes 6 months to get an appointment.
