Dr. Roberto Carlos Fernandez-Blay, MD

Very Very Very VERY bad customer service, I called twice to make an appointment. I cannot make it bc the lady on phone told me not update yet have to call again in 24-48 hours after today. When I asked insurance customer service he told me to call the doctor's office right now and give them reference number. I really have to work all day long. If this lady still work like this , work will break down. At least she should think about the patient that needs to see a doctor. Bad impression.

Visité el centro médico a llevar a mis padres que tenían cita, nos atendió por primera vez el Dr Roberto Fernández y estamos muy satisfechos y agradecidos con la atención y el servicio recibido, muy profesional, le dedicó tiempo a mis padres y sobre todo les explicó muy bien acerca de los medicamentos,las condiciones médicas etc.Muy agradecidos muy buen doctor.

This doctor took the time to thoroughly go thru my moms medications from a doctor shes been seeing for years and found a combination that's been causing her leg pains for almost a year! How after just ONE VISIT he identified the problem sold me! Switched her, my father and now my wife and I are his patients. His office was the cleanest and well kept. Spotless almost! Oh and staff was very caring to my father who has dementia.

This Doctor doesn't take time to listen to his patients. The waiting time is 1 hour and 30 minutes. They give you the appt (for exampe at 2:30pm) I used to get there 15 minutes earlier to see him at 4:45p.m!!! and only for 5 minutes! Super unprofessional. For 2 years he never couldn't controlled my Thyroid (HYPOTHYROIDISM) never check my heart. The receptionists are rude, never return phone calls, never call back for Lab results. Now, that I have a new Doctor I'm doing much better, he found that my heart has a lump which I'm been treated for. DON'T GO TO THIS OFFICE!

Nine years with this doctor and he can't return my 19 calls for this weekend for a serious illness problem. Un believable the only thing he cares about are his cuban patients.

Great doctor takes time with you and explains everything

Have been going to his co doctors for years....but Dr. Fernandez Blay actually listens to me and I feel he is really the first doctor to understand my pain problem without being judgemental. He is personable and will take time to actually listen to what you're saying.

This physician walked in to the hospital room, received a phone call, and came back only after we reminded the nurse he hadn't returned. He lied and said that the ct scan report was not back when I was able to review a copy the night the scan was done, he just never wanted to look at the reports. He also had the information of how long I'd been sick incorrect. I don't think he took two minutes to review my case. He gave me no feedback when I asked questions, explained nothing, and when the pulmonary specialist came to see me and said I could be discharged, Dr. Fernandez-Blay wouldn't return the nurse or Pulmonary Specialist's call to discharge me and another physician had to discharge me. It was an awful experience and I do not recommend his physician nor do I have any confidence in his ability as a practicing Internal Medicine Physician.

This individual showed a lack of professionalism in managing care for my mother. He did not read the notes, he refused to actively listen (did not even passively listen or hear us) when my sister, A HEMATOLOGIST/ONCOLOGIST, tried to explain the series of events that led to my mother's illness. Pray that you never cross paths with this person because he 1 - Will not provide accurate nor requested information, 2 - Will not keep his word nor will he appear on time (if at all) when you are expecting to see him, 3 - Will never answer pages nor phone calls, 4 - Will not properly make notes on patient's record, 5 - Will not treat according to the condition (makes up his own).
