Dr. Roberto Talamantes, MD

Dr. Talamantes is a great doctor I have ever seen. He is very much compassionate. He has lots of patience to hear patience problem. He can subside the worry and anxiety of the baby's parents. His nurse is also very good. Anytime I call her for my baby's problem she listens to me and gives a solution. We are really lucky to have Dr. Talamante as my baby's pediatrician li.

Dr. Talamantes is great! I have no complaints about him at all. His staff however, needs a major overhaul. Not only were they rude and incompetent, but I also received several bills that did not match up with my EOB (explanation of benefits) from my insurance company. They were constantly trying to overcharge me. Also, the bills they sent out were very vague; not giving specifics on how much I owed for each child or the dates of each service. My advice, if you do decide to take your child here, is to always ask for receipts with each payment or co-pay. It's really a shame that a great doctor has to lose clientele based on his terrible office staff.

Things started great, but over time...he said my oldest doesn't need extra help with therapies outside of school and he won't listen to questions I have about my younger son. The office staff is a nightmare to work with. She said she has the right codes and out insurance is wrong and she continually says we owe money when we have already paid and paid. Now I'm trying to get my kids moved to a different doctor and they still say we owe money. Grrrr!!!!

and that is where the compliments end. From the rude staff to the sloppy and unprofessional postcards they send, I am surprised they are even still in business! Last week I waited 45 minutes to be greeted by a nurse that was screaming and yelling and slamming doors (yes slamming doors) at the secretary, only to see the doctor for 15 to 20 seconds! This evening I called the nurse on call... 3 hours later no response! This office is a joke!

Dr. Talamantes is a great doctor. He is good with the kids and has always been very courteous with me. His receptionist though definitely doesn't have the same characteristics. Every visit we have been in she is rude and very impersonal. She acts like we are bothering her and like she doesn't want to be there.
