Dr. Robertus J Salis, MD

Dr. Salis was grossly negligent in my son’s care. The Williams Rd location is totally unprofessional and has very little empathy for parents and their children.I was made to wait 3 WHOLE weeks before I could get an appointment for my son’s issue. I took him to various appointments throughout the year with no compassion or results to my son’s constipation issue. Finally last month I had an appt and this Dr just prescribed some mild constipation issue. 5 days later he’s in the ER. The hospital found stool covering his whole abdomen. We were prescribed Miralax. Still no call from Summit Peds or Salis. 10 days later my son is in the hospital again. This time he was full of stool again and he vomited cups full. He was admitted with an NG tube for 2 days! Summit still hadn’t called me. I called yesterday to see if they transferred my eecords. They put me on hold and said that yes they did. Never once asked me why I was leaving! Stay away from this facility and Salis! My son could have died!
