My mother went to her for YEARS and was misdiagnosed for YEARS. The final visit in her office finished with my mother being told she was overweight and lazy. That evening my mother has a massive seizure and after an ambulance ride to the hospital for testing, MRI etc. was told she had a brain tumor the size of a grapefruit. It was a slow growing tumor that developed for 15 years and majority of those years my mother was a patient of Dr. Blount. Years of misdiagnosis with the final telling her she was overweight and lazy. Treating her as though she was a hypochondriac vs. finding why she was feeling the way she was. Tired, easily confused, body going numb or hurting on one side.....tragic situation that could have been found had the Dr. listened.
