Dr. Robin Frank Spiering, MD

For the past few visits, it has seemed to me that Dr Spiering is not nearly so interested in my health as he is in selling me some of the vitamins and supplements he sells. This has been a very frustrating experience for me. Additionally, my last 2 visits were supposed to be some sort of "telehealth" visits. However, they were more like a quick phone call. I have never understood why we didn't do a video visit, or why, in light of the health issues I have, the folks in his office didn't want to at least "lay eyes on me," to make sure there were no obvious issues. All in all, I'm very dissatisfied with the care I receive from Dr Spiering and am currently engaged in finding a new PCP.

I am about to have my third and LAST appointment at Dr. Spiering's office but it will.be the first time I will actually see the doctor himself. On my two previous appointments I was shuffled from one PA to another, both proving themselves heartless and incompetent. I am a Chronic Pain Patient, suffering cancer related pain from two bouts of breast cancer, a mastectomy, and six weeks of radiation therapy. This fight left severe nerve and muscle damage in my upper body with referred pain to my back, neck, head, left shoulder, arm, and hand. Add to that severe Degenerative Disk Disease, lumbar spinal stenosis, etc., causing pain 24/7. I came to this doctor for help and ended up being forced off of the opioid medication that for 15 years had helped ease my pain. Previous doctors had reduced my dosage till they had taken away my quality of life but this past action by these two people and backed up by Dr. Spiering actually threatened my very existence. Though not addicted, my… system was dependent on the medication and I had strong withdrawal symptoms Nausea, muscle and nerves spasms, high blood pressure and respiratory rate that could cause serious health consequences. This lasted for several weeks with no offer of help from the doctor's. Looking for a new doctor with a conscience and a heart, one that remembers "First do no harm".

When reading the reviews that were negative, I found that I agreed with the majority of the comments i.e., no follow-ups, rushed my appointments to the point that I thought they were a waste of time.

Dr. Spiering is very attentive, he takes the time to talk to you and listens very well. He has been treating me, mostly with simple physicals, for several years now and I highly recommend him.

As a Home Health RN, I had met him when I was delivering labs to the office, when he was part of a large Medical Group many years ago, and also heard nothing but good things about him, so when my PCP retired, I chose him,and have never been disappointed. He is caring, compassionate, and if the problem is urgent, they find the time to fit you in. I have followed him through his moves. Love the new office, free parking, easy in, easy out.

Dr. Spiering is kind, knowledgable and a true asset to the medical field. I have been going to him for years and even though he is 40 minutes away from where I live still choose him for my medical needs.

I've been seeing him as my Primary Care Physician since the late 90's. You couldn't ask for a more caring doctor, I think he's wonderful.

Dr Spering and his staff are prompt , thoughtful and caring..I feel very comfortable with them and trust the advice from Dr Spering...

This is old school kindness, caring and compassionate at it's best. Reception is top drawer and the doctor is one of the most wonderful doctors you would be fortunate to have.
