I needed emergency care at McCleod in Little River, SC. Dr. Rock was caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and thorough. He performed a "spinal tap" on me and his caring hands were much appreciated in a dreadful time. Thank you good Sir.

This “doctor” is in Myrtle Beach SC now. The most uncaring and arrogant doctor I’ve ever met. Made me wait more than an hour for pain meds while I’m having the worst kidney stone attack of my life. (I’ve had 5 surgeries for stones) Then he gave me Toradol. My BP was almost double normal from the pain and he gave me Toradol. After another 30 he finally gave me something to at least take the edge off so I could sit still long enough to go in the CT. He came in and said “it’s a 3mm stone you can pass it” and released me. After telling him it’s not a small stone and I’m very worried he replied “I can call your urologist but he’s gonna say the same thing!” Well turns out this guy sent me home still in pain with a 6mm kidney stone…a stone that should have been surgically removed.

Dr. Rock saw my son at urgent care. He was super friendly, positive, thorough and put my son at ease. This is the first time my son has left an office and said that he really liked the doctor! He truly is the best!

It was difficult to determine if it is cultural with this guy (challanging to understand why I should conform to his) or if he is just flat out one of the most arrogant people I have encountered in some while; and what that is based on escapes me. I had what turned out to be bronchitis. I didn’t want to wait in the doctor’s office or the emergency room, so I went to the Holden Urgent Care. My daughter suggested that I go elsewhere because “that Dr Rock is intolerably condecending.” She proved correct

This guy will give you tylenol and send you home without any tests, scans, or knowing what is wrong with you. He does not know how to communicate with people and fails to give explanations. Tells you about his ailments and yours don't seem as serious as his. Don't go to this emergency room if he is there.

This doctor really knows his stuff and he is a top notch doctor! He is friendly, courteous and professional.
