Dr. Roderick Thomas Beaman JR., DO

I came to DR. Beaman because I had a bad back and I enjoyed the effect produced by pain medication. He took me in and at first was kind, educated me and encouraged natural healing. After a few months I noticed more and more patients, wait time was longer and some patients were being taken out the back door in hand cuffs. I was on 120MG saily of methadone along with Norco and benzo's. I went 9 years without a sober breath and it became about the money quickly for him. Once the DEA came through Jacksonville in 2013 no pharmacy would fill his prescriptions and he wanted to hop on the suboxone train. He told me by the time I was 30 I wouldn't be able to walk. I am 35 and have been sober 3.5 years and I am walking. Shame on Dr Beaman. He does not care for anyone.

I left the office crying, the staff was great, not much waiting time to get in, nurse is a sweetheart and the Office Manager extremely nice but the Doctor was a joke. It was my third visit and last one too. It took 3 minutes to check me and treated me like I had leprosy , I have PD and lumbar fusion surgery by a different Dr but, this Dr has not respected for women and no manors whatsoever!!

Office has been in place for over 5 years. Dr is a bit quirky sometimes, but he definitely cares about his patients. I haven't had any problems filling my scripts. Maybe the other person should try making themselves a bit more presentable. I don't believe that line about DEA for a second. Great staff. Typical wait for doctors office.

was a patient no cvs or walgreens in the state of fla will accept a script from him dr told me he lost 40,000 in income and fined 18,000 very bad doctor the dea has there eye on him just ask any cvs or walgreens pharmacy they called me and threatened to sue me yes the dr threatened me ha ha cant sue over the truth i talked to the head of these pharmacies they warned me he was a bad doctor beware if you are a patient of his he will accept anyone as a patient he needs the money and the boss dr croker threatens a lot but cant back it up just a big mouth joke as is his pill head staff they will do anything for pills and money what a joke he will not be dr much longer the dea has his adress for sure

dr.beaman cares very much for his patients and takes time to explain medical issues with them

he's a little chatty but it was obvious how much he cares and does everything he can to help
