Dr. Roderick Claybrooks

I had back surgery in 2014. I had a fusion of the lower spine. I have not been back to see him because it is not nessesary because I have had no problems. I am in my 60's I still cut my grass shovel snow and do odd jobs. Was in a lot of pain before operation.

As an orthopedic Physical Therapist, I have seen many of Dr. Claybrooks patients to know enough that they did well. When I developed an issue myself he instantly came to mind. I did however get three opinions before deciding on Dr. Claybrooks. I had numbness and pain into my left arm that did not resolve with therapy, injections and conservative means. All three surgeons recommended surgical correction. I ended up having a ACDF; anterior cervical decompression fusion. Dr. Claybrooks was able to perform the surgery within 3 weeks once I decided to do it. He always took his time to answer all my questions and explained everything clearly. The surgery went very well; my numbness and arm pain was gone when I came out of anesthesia. I'm 5 months post and am back to more rigorous exercise than I was doing prior to surgery. I couldn't be more pleased with my care or with his skills as a surgeon. I highly recommend him! Further, his office is run very well, minimal wait times.

Dr Claybrooks is a amazing Dr. He handles everything with great respect. I would recommend him to anyone. I got 3 opinions about my lower back issue. I know I choose the right Dr to do the job. I would give him 5 stars. His staff not so good.

Dr. Claybrooks is a great surgeon. My husband's spinal fusion surgery went extremely well and he is recovering quicker than we ever imagined. Dr. Claybrooks is genuine and relatable. He made us very comfortable with a very uncomfortable medical issue. This would be a 5 star review without a doubt if the office staff were anywhere near as fantastic as Dr. Claybrooks himself. Unfortunately, that part of the business left a lot to be desired. However, I still would and will recommend Dr. Claybrooks to anyone with back troubles.

I'm very pleased with Dr. Claybrooks! Very nice, listens well. His staff, not so much. Rude, never calls back.

staff sucks you can't get any info on any tests you take they are all over the map won't call back can't find results. find another dr

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY THE COURTEOUS MANNER WHICH WAS EVIDENT AS SOON AS I ENTERED THE OFFICE THE RECEPTIONIST GREETED ME WITH A WARM SMILE AND NEEDED INFORMATION /OR DIRECTIONS TO FOLLOW, PROMPLY I WAS ACKNOWLEDGED AND CALLED BY MY SIR NAME AND GREETED BY THE MEDICAL ASSISTANT WITH A NICE WARM SMILE AND DIRECTED TO A ROOM , SHE THEN DID THE USUAL PROCEEDURES, AND THEN IMFORMED THAT THE DOCTOR WOULD BE IN SHORTLY. DR. CLAYBROOKS ENTERED WITH A WARM SMILE, INTODUCED HIMSELF AND HIS ASSISTANT, SHOOK MY HAND AND SPOKE TO MY WIFE AND SHOOK HER HAND HE THE PROCCEEDED WITH THE EXAM. HE HAS VERY GOOD DOCTOR PATIENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS, A NICE BEDSIDE MANNER. AS AN OLDER MAN I APPRECIATED THE RESPECT SHOWN TO ME AND MY WIFE . HIS CONDUCT HAS CAUSED ME TO FEEL I AM IN COMPETENT, SKILLED HANDS . ALL INSTRUCTIONS WERE EXPLAINED TO ME THROUGHLY. LOOKING FORWARED TO MY UPCOMING SURGERY SINCE MEETING DR. CLAYBROOKS.

Dr. Claybrooks has a wonderful bedside manner. He explains things well and makes things easy to understand. I am very pleased with the overall result of my surgery. His staff was very responsive and easy to work with prior to and after surgery.

After my first office visit with Dr. Claybrooks I knew I had made the correct choice in surgeons. What made me feel the best about Dr. Claybrooks was the time he spent listening to my concerns and answering my all of my questions.

i have been seeing dr C since 2007 it was my birthday and also my first visit with him i was a bit apprehensive and scared but when i met him he put my mind at ease i would strongly recomend him to anyone who is hurting and in pain and all though i was told i needed surgury for my back and chronic back pain he was right there when i opened up my eyes and iam glad to say is a wonderful doctor and a great confadonte i just wish i knew how old he is cause he looks so young and doesnt age if we had more doctors like him then maybe we could get rid of the ones who doesn't deserve to have there liscense my hat goes off to Dr Rodrick Claybrook for a kind gentle beside soul keep up the good work!
