Doctor Powell has the greatest personality & he is that way no matter what time of day you see him. He is an excellent surgeon & gives a thorough explanation of any procedure that you may need. I would highly recommend him!

Have to agree with the prior rating...Dr Powell has a great sense of humor but does not work well as a worker comp physican...does not listen to any discussion of pain or continued symptoms....still having pain in my thumb and wrist after being discharged from CTS surgery and having to seek another wc dr. ....have heard wonderful reviews on him by others under private care but not so under my claim....

sorry but you people with glowing feedback are not on workmans comp.you didn't have to have an FCE before he would do anything.you didn't have his little helper make symptoms disappear,tell you there is good news and the bad news is he is your doctor.another puppet for workmans comp,he's all about the money he doesn't care if you get better or not, he does what workmans comp tells him to do no more.people on workmans comp we have to do something let other people know about this because workmans comp has all the control and you have none.if you don't have one yet get a lawyer,and get as far away from this man as you can.how many of his regular patients have to have a FCE before he does anything?

He did Carpal Tunnel surgery on BOTH my wrists at the same time, and I was back driving an 18-wheeler, long haul, 2 1/2 WEEKS later and never had another problem with them. Great doctor. Good sense of humor. Caring person. Gives good explanations. I'd recommend him to anybody.
