Dr Herman was recommended to me by a colleague at work in 1989. I have been a patient ever since. Dr. Herman is very knowledgeable and tells you like it is. He doesn't sugar-coat anything which I prefer. He is caring and will follow up after hours on serous matters.

Overall Experience: Horrific and Nearly DEADLY!Personal Family Experience is this Doctor #1.OVER MEDICATES; #2. did not listen to this patient #3. treated side effects from medications #4.Ignored known SIDE EFFECTS and patient's allergies and hypersensitivies to medications #5.IGNORED OR LACKED MEDICAL ABILITY TO SOLVE patient's medical problem. #6. lacked medical curiosity to investigate possible causes #7.His 'bedside manner ' included: YELLING at patient and advocate for investigating side effects of medications given to patient by this physician#8. Forbiding using a blood pressure monitor AND MOST UNFORGIVEABLE #9 Forbid admittance to emergency for patient when the patient requested admittance because he felt the patient was perfectly healthy and would deny Medicare from covering expenses!!! One week later this patient entered EMERGENCY at another hospital in DIOR CONDITION DUE TO this physican's WEEKLY caring! If this is good medical care WE WILL PASS ON THIS INTERNIST!

I had Dr. Herman as my primary care doctor for almost 13 years. The only reason I no longer go to him is that I relocated.
