Dr. Rodney Duane Lewis, MD

Dr. Rodney Lewis MD is a widely experienced, professional, and careful physician. He performed two mastectomies on my wife over a six year period when she contracted two different types of breast cancer. He worked in close concert with us and with our oncologist to provide my wife the immediate and long term follow up care she has needed to beat this disease. Most important, Dr. Lewis tenderly cared for my wife, treats us like family, and listens to us. I can't imagine being in better hands that his when surgery is required.

About 15 or so years ago I experienced a bout of diverticulitis which resulted in an abscess on my colon against my bladder. I was in severe condition and needed surgery immediately. Frankly, Dr Lewis probably saved my life. Plus, he was a really cool guy who I appreciated being available when I needed him. A Thank You to this man was never enough but it was all I had until now. I have found Dr Lewis very professional, he explained what I needed and why in a very detailed manner. He also answered all the questions I had about the procedure.

This surgeon is a fear-based bully, preying on those he is about to cut into and browbeating those recently out of anesthesia. He was dismissive of patient concerns, and extremely judgmental of life experiences and choices. I am removing my own stitches rather than deal with this bully again, does that tell you anything? I guess most people give surgeons a pass as long as they survive their surgery, but this guy will never touch me again.
