Dr Penaflor has been our primary physician for over 10 years and has gone beyond the usual attention and or treatments that I have experienced with other Drs. I am promptly seen when I have an illness and feel that I am getting undivided attention during my appts. What Dr calls to check on his patients personally? Never before had I had that happen. The office staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I am grateful that my husband and I found this office and this Dr!

Dr. Penaflor has been my primary care doctor for more than 10 years now, helping me with my diabetes care. I see him twice annually. He spends a significant amount of time with me during my visits, and has been helpful referring me to specialists when the situation demanded it. I find him very caring & very professional, and would recommend him highly to anyone.

Dr Penaflor is a very caring Doctor. He spends time with my elderly mother ensuring that she understands everything he is telling her. He is very proactive in her healthcare. Ensures she has annual tests and lab work ever 6 months. I would recommend Dr Penaflor to anyone looking for a great physician.

Dr. Penaflor was out of town, so I was seen by his Nurse Practicioner. I have been short of breath after recently having two stints placed in my heart. Not only was the PA cavalier about my shortness of breath, but I was told I was "fine" and could start playing golf the next day. I was admitted to the Hospital the next day, as my shortness of breath got worse. I was diagnosed with Pneumonia and am on a battery of antibiotics. I have been in the Hospital for 3 days now, but Dr. Penaflor and his staff completely dropped the ball on my care. They didn't even attempt to find a proper diagnosis. God forbid if I had followed their advise and tried to play golf...! If you are considering seeing this Dr., don't!
