Dr. Roger Stewart Collins, MD

Dr. Collins did some liposuction on me this past summer and everything went well. I had more pain than I thought I would but he took my call a weekend and made sure I got a refill on my pain medicine. Overall great experience.

Mom of four kids here and my belly was so embarrassing. I debated for a long time spending the money but I finally realized I had to do it. I had a tummy tuck with Dr Collins and I couldn’t be happier. Scar is low and my belly is very flat. Most of all though when I look in the mirror I feel good about myself and I don’t look at myself 10 times a day wishing I could change my belly. Thank you Dr Collins.

I had had a lift with a another local surgeon that really didn’t stay “lifted” and found myself looking for another surgeon when I met Dr Collins. The results near 3 years later from having the new lift done by him are still amazing and I am so happy I decided to redo the surgery. He was professional, confident in his plan, and the team was so great too! I highly recommend!

I contacted Dr. Collins thinking he would provide me the Breast I have wanted my entire life. Unfortunately that was no the case. I had Breast augmentation surgery in 2017 and per Dr. Collins recommendation the implanted were inserted peri-aerolar. The implants were to high both had muscle flex deformities and no where near symmetrical. I was informed that because I have a muscular built to give it more time, they will settle and the hideous scaring now around my entire Aerola could be fixed. They never settled. I continued to remain optimistic that Dr. Collins could correct the issues with the surgery in 2017 and continued to think the issue must be because I have an athlete built. In 2018 Dr. Collins performed another BA surgery to correct the issues but this time decided to enter using the inflammatory incision (yay! more scars) The Breast are now slight more symmetrical but still to high/stiff and I still have one breast that has muscle flex deformity. I have now been informed that… there is nothing that he can do to fix it. It’s just something that can happen with BA and if I have another surgery it could possibly make it worst. Also regarding the areola scarring I had another minor surgery with Dr. Collins and still have two areola that have extremely bad scars and again are no where near symmetrical. One areola is almost in the correct location but it is no longer circular while the other is far to the left and to low. I will not recommended Dr. Collins and unfortunately will have to under additional surgeries to correct his mistakes or lack of attention to detail.

Dr. Collins is perhaps one of the finest doctors I have ever even heard of. At age 40, following a routine breast cancer screen, I found out I would have to have a bilateral mastectomy. I have never been so afraid in my life as I have never had anything more than a bad cold in my brief 40 years. After my initial consultation with Dr. Collins and meeting his amazing staff, I was set at ease about my future. Every complication I was told usually doesn't happen has happened to me and the team responded quickly and with great compassion. They have gone above and beyond as my fears have not subsided, as I am only 42 and human,to help me whenever and wherever possible. I have been referred to support groups,home health care when needed, and had all of my pain needs met as needed. Though my case is rare, reconstruction taking so long because of my infection history, I can only imagine how great he has been with other patients. He and his staff have attended to me in office and at the hospital… following my many procedures. I just love Dr. C and his staff and thank GOD for him everyday. If you want a skilled, well versed, compassionate and talented doctor, Dr. Collins is it!

Very good experience. I can recommend this doctor for his professionality, kindness and caring. Also his nurse Teresa is very nice.

I was sent to Dr. Collins for a consult after my breast cancer diagnosis. He seemed very young but he was incredible. He spent over an hour with us during the first consult. He broke everything down to where we could understand it. I underwent mastectomy with reconstuction last month and so far so good. Teresa (his nurse) has been incredible. She has taken extra time with us and is so reassuring. I know God placed me where I needed to be.

I was referred to Dr. Collins for reconstruction of my nose after skin cancer. Not only is he extremely talented he is kind and caring. Almost "un-doctor like!" I immediately had complete trust in him. Teresa Parker, his nurse, completes a great team. I can't begin to say enough or give the two of them enough praise. I have seen other repairs of skin cancer that were much less severe and there is no comparison. People now say they would never have known that I'd even had skin caner.Dr. Collins is an amazing plastic surgeon. Beyond comparison.
