Dr. Roger Michael Epstein, MD

This doctor ordered tests that I never needed and was later diagnosed correctly by another primary care doctor. Very rude too!

We have gone to Dr. Epstein for many years. Great interaction and always confident with his level of care.

Good listener & bedside manner. Very knowledgeable in his field.

Totally missed diagnosis on my grown son. He was suffering for Celiac for so long while under this doctors care. A GP finally diagnosed him properly. Wouldn't recommend him to anybody.

The office staff is fantastic and the Doctor is good, but tends to overlook what the patient says and you tend to feel like a number and not a person with him.

When you see a specialist, you want to get an expert opinion. He was gruff, wouldn't talk. He did not examine me, but his notes state that he did. He lied. Will file a complaint with the State Board.

This doctor refused to see me after I cancelled ONE appointment due to severe illness, which was documented. The problem is that he did not tell me that he was refusing to see me due to this, but instead his office staff said that I did not need a specialist and was referred back to my PCP for a different level of care. In fact, I only found this out when I got my medical records. His office did not notify me at all that they were refusing to see me but rather that I didn't NEED to see him. Big difference. Horrific communication!

I went there and he said not to worry, Did not examine me, but instead made future appt. Complete waste of time for appt and could have done this by phone. Was so rushed he put me in a non-exam roon, told me it was probably nothing and walked out before he could answer any questions I needed to ask.

I went to his office with rectal bleeding and he brought me into a side room that looked like a telephone booth and TALKED to me. He told me that it was just hemmorhoids. He didn't even have me get undressed and take a look. Guess he thinks he is psychic. The waiting room was very full so I think he just tried to get rid of me. When the bleeding got worse, my primary care doctor put in an emergency call to him, which he never answered, nor did anyone at his office until a day later....so....... very disappointed in this doctor. No wait at his office because people are herded through there. His staff is nice but hardly met a nurse as none was needed as I was not ever going to be examined. What kind of doctor diagnoses without taking a look0-see?
