Dr. Roger Dale Jones, MD

Dr. Jones is the best family practitioner I have ever gone to (and I'm over 50). He really does care about his patients and takes on some difficult cases.

Roger Jones spends plenty of time talking to you but not about what you go to visit him for......I went in with an acute back strain, he didnt look at my back or ask me any questions about the injury. For about 20 minutes he ranted to me about how if i werent overweight I wouldnt have back pain. Offered to get me into a bariatric surgery program....surgery for morbidly obese people, which I am not. Told me I must be filling an emotional hole with food. I left disgussted with myself, no ideas about how to help my back and I will not consider seeing him in the future....By the way he did the same thing to my husband...he won't be back either. My husbands issue was different it was his blood pressure needed adjusted...he prescribed several different medications, none of which helped him. It's like he preaches about weight because he doesnt know how to treat other issues.
