JR Roger John Martinkus

Dr. Martinkus is the absolute gold standard of psychiatric care. Having moved across the country and worked with many different providers, I can say without hesitation that he is the most incredible psychiatrist I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. What sets him apart is his holistic approach; he doesn't just perform a quick "med check" and send you on your way. He truly listens and asks about your whole life: home, work, and relationships to ensure you are supported in every aspect. As a woman of color, I am used to being dismissed by medical professionals, but Dr. Martinkus treats me as a true partner in my care. He is empathetic, deeply knowledgeable, and trusts his patients. His practice is also incredibly responsive and reliable. I never had to worry about refills or getting an appointment when I needed one. I am only leaving his care because I am moving out of the country, otherwise, I would want him as my psychiatrist for life. He is a rare gem in the medical field!
