Dr. Roger Mignosa, DO

During community college, I injured my knee while running cross country and after unsuccessful visits with my PCP and an orthopedic surgeon, I was referred to Dr. Mignosa. Dr. Mignosa helped heal my knee by working with my entire body instead of just focusing on the problem area. He also was clear, concise, and genuine with regards to explaining why I had my injury and what I could do to help my body in the future so that I wouldn't injury it again in the same way. I have continued to see Dr. Mignosa through university and after graduation and I have referred many people to him as well. I am so thankful for everything he has done for me and I will continue to see him through my adult life. I highly recommend him!!!

I saw Dr Mignosa twice. The second time I saw him was at his UCSD office. He was in a very noticeably bad mood and he was so rude, my family member left the room. He is insulting and shaming telling me the mouth is for chewing and the nose is for breathing. I have bad sinusitis and sometimes literally cannot breathe through my nose. Did he want me to asphyxiate??? Honestly, I should have gotten up and left. I don't know what's going on with him but his behavior was 100 percent unprofessional and unacceptable. Maybe he was angry that I paid hundreds to see him in Kearny Mesa and saw him at UCSD later for a meager co-pay. Stay away from unhealed healers. They do more harm than good.
