This was my daughters first OB/GYN check up ever. Her stepfather and I are both physicians.. She called me upset after her visit and wanted to know if it was normal that when he told her to drop her legs apart he said “open wide and saY ahh”.She said the nurse didn’t even bat an eye so she thought it was just an off sense of humor.We assured her this was not professional behavior and told her to watch the movie hand that rocks the cradle. Although he encouraged her to call and file a complaint she was afraid to since she was still an undergraduate and college from out of state. Her visit was in 2014. She never went back. However the office got her billing information wrong and now have sent her to collection four years later For an error that was done on their part. She and I have been trying to contact the billing department which has been frustrating at best. I have been told this man has retired. I plan on researching more and seeing if there been any complaints registered with the… Florida Board of medical examiners against him as there should have been made by my daughter.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bartley's since 1988. I could not imagine any other gyn taking care of me. He has always been kind, caring, thorough and one of the nicest individuals you will ever meet. After your exam he has you meet him in his office so that you can talk comfortably and address any issues or concerns. He never rushes you, he will take whatever time is required to give you the peace of mind you need. When I had my second and last child, he even came to visit me in the hospital on his day off as he was leaving for vacation. He sat with me holding my son and just chatting. I highly recommend him and look forward to continued years with him.

He has always has a calmness and great sense of humor. I feel very comfortable with him

Dr. Bartley is an excellent gynecologist, and thoughtful and caring towards his patients. He takes the time to address their concerns and one never gets the feeling that he has one eye on the clock or is impatient. Wait times are variable but this is not an issue with this Dr since based on my own experience the time lags are due to Dr Bartley spending time with his patients and not because of double or triple booking.
