Dr. Rohit R Kumar, MD

Dr Kumar doesn't read you chart, or listen to ANYTHING you say. My visit with him yesterday was terrible. He was putting in wrong information and i corrected him twice , He left my chart with the wrong information as i saw it yesterday on line. When he asked how i was doing I said that several of my friends died. He said "that's good" I said are you serious, i just said several of my friends died and you said that's good!!! I was furious. What is wrong with him. He doesn't care and doesn't listen. I am glad i am not seriously ill.

Dr Kumar is the most caring, doctor I have ever had. I literally owe my life to Him. 14 years ago I had a major blockage of my LED artery and when diagnosed by dr Kumar he got me into the hospital right away and was able to put a stent in my artery to allow my blood to flow and eliminate the restriction caused by plaque. After the operation dr Kumar worked with me to understand how to control my cholesterol and change my life style to include exercise as a daily routine and to control my diet to keep my body weight down. His follow up with me over the years is great in that he contacts me to be sure I get regular check ups and blood work so that we are watching my condition every year. Dr Kumar is more than a doctor he makes his patients feel like they are part of his family. He always asks about my children and my wife and family. If you are looking for a doctor who is brilliant in his field of cardiology and caring on a personal level I can highly highly recommend Dr Kumar.

I saw Dr. Kumasi today during a cardiac workup at Winchester Hospital. What a firecracker. If I need a cardiologist I’m choosing him. He’s straightforward and doesn’t sugar coat things. Who wants a doctor who does. You can’t play games when it comes to heart health. He doesn’t. He had a way of easing my anxiety. Very personable. He even went as far as to tape my Johnny shut because it didn’t have straps and he increased the temp in the room because it was like a meat freezer. What doctor cares enough to do that!? Loved this doctor. Kind and honest. Great bed side manner.

Great interpersonal skills and Dr. Kumar took the time to explain my conditions and provide other professional advice. Friendly staff.

I was sent to Dr. Kumar to recheck a questionable EKG before surgery. First, his assistant asked me every question you could think of, except why I was there. Then, Dr. Kumar asked me all the same questions while using a voice activated program to input the information into his laptop. After all the questions and looking at my records, he wanted to put me on statins. He said that I could have a heart attack if I didn't. I told him that I was there for clearance for surgery only. I was really creeped out by his constantly calling me "darling" and "sweetheart", but I didn't say anything. I just wanted to get out of there. I cannot recommend this man to anyone.

THE STAFF WAS MOST HELPFUL AND MADE ME FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE. DR KUMAR WAS RUNNING LATE AND THEY KEPT ME INFORMED AND EXPLAINED WHAT WAS GOING ON AND GAVE ME OPTIONS . DR KUMAR WAS A WONDERFUL DR . WAS INFORMATIVE AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE

they don't seem to care about patient like a meat market some f staff rude should not be in a customer service profession, also felt rushed I would never go back

Great doctor, truly cares about his patients and is why my whole family and many other whole families have been his patients for a long time.
