Dr. Rohit Madhukar Oza, MD

When I first went to Dr. Oza I could barely walk. After the X-ray and mri, It was determined that I had stenosis of the spine. I had an epidural, which helped and brought me back to about 40%. After the 2 nd epidural & physical therapy, I am pleased to say I am about 85-90% back to normal. Dr. Oza worked wonders, I highly recommend him.

Dr. Oza has been my pain management doc at SMG, berkley, NJ since a long time. His service is very timely and efficient. He gives appointments easily and responds to my concerns/questions patiently. I have recommended him to many of my friends.

I have been a patient of Dr. Oza since spring of 2018 and from the moment I meet him he was so caring and compassionate. I came into his office with severe pain in my right butt and going to my right thigh and knee. I explained I had hip displasure and explained I had seen a hip ortho Dr. and that the Dr. had xrayed my hips and lower back and sent me to therapy. After one month of therapy the pain was worse so I went back to the hip Dr. and he said my problem was not my hip but my back. When I first saw Dr Oza he immediately sent me for an MRI on my back and he told me it was broke. I said what is broke and he said my spine and that it had shifted to the right and two discs were over lapped and nerves were showing and that was why I had all the pain I was experiencing. He showed me the xray from the ortho Dr. and he said that xray showed the break in my spine. Dr Oza said surgery would be needed to fuse the spine back together but said he would like to try injections first so I went… for an injection and it really didn't work so we went for a second injection in my back and that injection has helped me a lot. Dr Oza did not want to rush to surgery right away and wanted to try the injections first and at no point did he ever prescript pain medicine. Dr Oza has such a compassion for his patients and takes the time to listen to you and you can see in him how he feels so horrible for you for the pain you are in and really wants to help you.. When he was giving me the injection and I said I felt pressure he would stop with the injection and ask you if your okay and that we can take all the time we need to finish the injection. After the injection you go to recovery and he comes in and checks on you and shows thru his words and look on his face how very very much he cares. Dr Oza is truly a one of a kind of DOCTOR that truly cares about his patients and will do what is needed to give you relief without the use of pain medicine. I received excellent care and attention from Dr Oza he preformed an epidural to relieve extreme pain from my back down my right leg which was ongoing for at least six weeks. Once I received the epidural there was instant relieve. Dr Oza is easy to talk with and makes you feel at ease. I would highly recommend him Eileen Midtbo

Dr. Oza is remarkable. He performed a procedure for me at the beginning of November. I am no longer in pain and my life has significantly improved. Dr. Oza took the time to understand the pain I was experiencing. After careful analysis of all information, he selected a course of treatment and ensured all of my questions were answered. Many doctors do not take the time or have the understanding that Dr. Oza has.

He made it possible for me to walk again and gave me my life back! A phenomenal doctor with a great bedside manner.

After meeting Dr. Oza one would wish all doctors could be, even if just in the slightest way, a little more like him. I have been diagnosed with a very rare and severe condition myself, which up to this point has involved seeing what sums up to dozens of additional specialists and doctors, and Dr. Oza easily stands out to me as one of the most qualified and polite doctors I have had the… fortune of coming into contact with during my 4-year battle with this condition. In my mind, there is no question that Dr. Oza is certainly the stand-alone, all-around, best doctor I have met and have had the fortune of receiving treatment from. It is in the highest possible regard that I would recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor of his expertise and practice.
