Well, all I can say is, I receive better help and attention from my dog than I did from him. Good luck w/ any communication ‘cuz he never got off his computer when I was there??????

I have been being treated by Dr. Jacobs for over a decade for difficult bi-polar disorder. I have been stable and, I might add, "normal" for a very long time as a result of careful balancing of medications. After decades of misery and incorrect diagnosis I am grateful for Jacobs treatment.

Dr Jacobs was seeing my mother, he over prescribed her medication which has now landed her in a wheel chair. She has advanced stages alzheimer's, he never bothered to notify me of the change, just changed her meds based on a couple questions from 1 person. Although he says he spoke to multiple people about her, I could only find 1 individual he spoke to.

I visited Dr. Jacobs for help with Restless Legs Syndrome, (RLS). He prescribed a medication wich exacerbated the condition terribly. I looked it up on the web, and it said it was contraindicated for RLS. Four terrible nights of very bad RLS and sleeplessness. Would not recommend this doctor!

I am researching a doctor for my partner and came accross this review which I disagree with. I found Dr. Rolands to be quite helpful and direct in our conversation. It turned out that at the time I really did not need the services of a psychiatrist. To speak to the reviewer, sometimes experienced doctors after having spent years in 'talk therapy' find that although it helps, ir is incomplete for many people. I am presently on a medication that has been helping now since 2005 when I started it after my daughter died. I learn that I could have done counseling/therapy for the rest of my life and never reached the joyful person I am today. It is good that we have doctors who know how to dispense these medications properly because general ppactitioners are allowed to do so and do not have the proper experience. I gave 4 starts but not having seen him again I do not know about his skill in various areas.
