Dr. Rolf Walter Meinhold, MD

After suffering from a most apprehensive and embarrassing condition in the hands of two doctors, I changed primary doctor and became a patient of Dr. Meinhold. He got me back on my feet, and I am now living a normal life. I thank my lucky stars that my good friend, also a patient of Dr. Meinhold, recommended Dr. Meinhold to me.

Dr Meinhold is my M.D. VIP physician. Prior to becoming a MDV IP physician , I was a patient of Dr. Meinhold. The best thing I ever did was join the MDV IP program. At my age I do have some issues. I had to contact Dr. Meinhold during off hours where I probably received a telephone call back I also had to have prescriptions sent to me while traveling. Most importantly when I do visit him at his office, I always leave his office feeling much better than when I arrived. He is very attentive to your issues, and and concerns. I have recommended Dr. Meinhold and will continue to recommend Dr. Meinhold to anybody who's interested in having this wonderful program available, with an outstanding physician.

Dr. Meinhold is the most caring, highly qualified physicians in his field. He goes above and beyond to listen to patients and determine accurate treatment. I have been a patient in this practice for 8 years and it is the BEST money I have ever spent. Professional caring nursing, and office staff.

Excellent Doctor

Dr. Meinhold is the most arrogant and rude doctor I've ever seen and except for his PA, the staff was very cold. Dr. Meinhold misdiagnosed my illness. After six months, it was his PA that recommended that I go see a specialist, and I immediately made an appointment. I was lucky that my appointment was with the PA that day. I went from being mildly sick to very sick because of the six-period of his not making the proper diagnosis. Once the specialist conferred, I never saw him again. I could not stand to look at him.

We were one of the 500 patients that went with Dr. Meinhold after he went 'concierge'. We love Dr. Meinhold...however we agreed with others who report that his staff was rude, poor to follow up, and the plethora of other not so nice comments that I will not repeat. As a woman patient, I did feel that Dr. Meinhold was not as attentive about suggesting the typical assessments. He was always on our backs about colonoscopies...and we finally did get them...he never once suggested to me that I should have a bone density test. It was my ob-gyn that was surprised that at my age I ad never had one. They NEVER followed up to get you to come in for a 6 month exam that you are supposed to be having...they expect you to do it. I have 2 new doctors who I go to and they follow up on everything and I LOVE IT!. I would have thought by going concierge and only having 500 patients that they would be proactive in making sure that you come in for your 6 month check. I would have thought that there would… be an occasional email from the DOC with some interesting medical advice? $1600 a year is a lot of money for NO value added services. Promptness is better now than it was when he had thousands of patients..his staff is still a bit mediocre in my opinion. Still took 6 minutes for someone to pick up the phone..then got put on hold to make an appt. Doc has always been great with us...his DX and time.....I think it is the staff...he should save some money and clean the last of the house out.

The doctor's diagnosis is never 100% correct and accurate: something is always missing. He doesn't follow up the patient 100%. The employees are absolutely dumb, rude and slow. I think that waiting one week for a prescription is outrageous and unprofessional. This office may be good for the people who have only little problems.

As a family, we have been patients of Dr. Meinhold for the past 5 years. Our 18 year old needed his medical forms completed for ROTC in college for Fall admissions. I provided the forms on Tuesday and followed up every day this week as we had to mail them out on Friday. They promised I could come pick them up today (Friday). After an additional two calls (at 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. this morning they finally said the forms had been completed. I had to go to work, so I sent my son to get them. He got home and realized the Doctor had not done ANYTHING with the forms and did not sign them. So now we are off to a Doc-in-the-box to get a physical at 3:45 p.m. and try to get the forms in the mail today. Now that Dr. Meinhold is going to the concierge medical platform it is apparent he does not really care about his existing patients that could not afford the $1650 per year, per person retainer. Needless to say, I'm on the search for a new family doctor. I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I would… give him a NEGATIVE number rating if I could.
